The Squatter Project
The Squatter Project is a personal project which I have been working on for the past few months.
My main interest through these photographs was to portrait a wide range of different people, mainly living in squats or on the street.
Most of them, within these series seem to be categorized by society as being "alternative/ underground groups".
By moving them away from their usual context and showing them in a studio environment, I aimed at focussing on their appearances and the emotion of their intense disrupted lifestyle, as well as group specific dress codes.
